Introduction to Mindfulness Classes for Kids ages 10-14 – Week 2

We all want our kids to feel confident, resilient, happy and be able to manage their emotional experiences, all of which is entirely possible! They just need to be taught how to do all those things. There is so much currently in the media regarding stress, anxiety, adolescent depression and suicide, that it really becomes critical to equip our kids with the best tools possible. This will set them up on a path that will benefit their emotional and social well-being for their entire life.
Mindfulness has been proven as an effective tool to do just that by cultivating the skills to develop awareness, compassion, self-compassion, empathy, resilience, emotional management, and presence. This 3 week Intro to Mindfulness class will provide your child with the foundational tools to be more mindful in all areas of their life, including their school life, social life and home life. Follow up with Levels 2 and 3, offered throughout the year, to allow them time to build their skills, as well as deepen and strengthen them.
