6-Week Mindfulness Class; Reduce Your Stress, Increase Your Health

Mindfulness has been scientifically proven to benefit our health in a multitude of ways: how to get better sleep, reduce your blood pressure and/or chronic pain, boost your immune system, decrease stress and anxiety (which will lead to a reduction in inflammation, which makes everything worse!), lowering symptoms of depression and rumination, as well as an overall increase in quality of life in a multitude of ways.
Through the practices of:
- Increasing AWARENESS (of your thoughts, emotions, sensations, and distractions, noticing what is arising in the moment, and accepting it without judgment),
- Paying greater ATTENTION (to habits and patterns that keep you stuck), and
- Acting with INTENTION (knowing why you are doing what you are doing, and creating new habits that are in line with where you want to be)
…you will be able to CHANGE YOUR LIFE! That is my promise to you!
You will gain greater understanding in how the mindfulness practices of connecting to your breath, body and senses will help ground you into the present moment, why practicing gratitude, compassion, self-compassion and lovingkindness will help get you out of your cyclical, negative habits, and how to gain greater strength in accepting your thoughts and emotions, rather than resisting them. You will know how to use all these tools to build a life based on health and wellness for your mind and body.
This 6-week class will guide you through experiential practices as well as provide a depth of knowledge in the interweaving how of your internal and emotional landscape impacts your physical health. Regular practice of these tools will allow you to change your health from the inside out, giving you greater control in being your best advocate for the healthy lifestyle you want to lead.
